Project Description

Restoration with Innovation

GreenBuilding Magazine: “Villa Raisi, the Symbol of the Historic Identity of Villafranca”

Asdea S.r.l. and PROGETTO INTEGRATO of Sulmona wrote an article about using innovative and high-quality materials to restore historic buildings. The article was published in the GreenBuilding Magazine by Kerakoll.

The article specifically talks about a project the two companies undertook to restore Villa Raisi (Medolla, Italy). The villa is a 17th century historical building that was unfortunately damaged in the 2021 Emilia earthquake. The three-story villa is immersed in a vast park full of majestic vegetation. The internal decor of the villa was painted in the 18th century. The main hall is 9 meters high, and a thin vault covers the center of the room for illumination. The goal of the project undertaken by ASDEA and Progetto Integrato was to restore the building using innovative techniques and materials like Steel Fiber Reinforced Grout (SFRG).
