Client: Cento Municipality

The Cento City Hall building is imbued with strong artistic value and is protected by the Cultural and Natural Heritage Code due to its historical origins. Construction on Cento City Hall began in 1612 and was completed halfway through the 18th century.

After 1830, the building was subjected to several different restorative interventions. The building, like other similarly constructed historical buildings, was highly vulnerable during seismic events, and unfortunately, an earthquake in May of 2012 damaged it significantly.

ASDEA completed necessary interventions to repair the damage and to improve the structural behavior of the building in seismic situations to reduce its vulnerability.
